Establishes New Jersey Statewide Suicide Prevention Coordination and Oversight Council in DHS.

The bill establishes the New Jersey Statewide Suicide Prevention Coordination and Oversight Council within the Department of Human Services. The council will periodically survey and evaluate existing suicide prevention activities, develop reporting standards for suicide prevention entities, and collect data on suicide attempts and completions. It will also assist entities with standardized guidance and compliance with regulations.
