Ensures persons interested in filling certain vacancies in nominations for public office have access to certain information and to legal.

This bill amends the process for filling vacancies in nominations for public office in New Jersey. It mandates that the meeting to select a candidate to fill a vacancy be held in accordance with the committee's bylaws, and requires these rules to be provided to interested persons at least 24 hours before the vote. The bill extends the timeframe for municipal clerks to certify lists of elected committee members to county clerks from 20 to 45 days.
