New Jersey A3946 requires emergency medical technicians and firefighters to undergo training on the risks associated with electric vehicles and the safe management of electric vehicle fires. The Director of the Division of Fire Safety, in consultation with the New Jersey Fire and Emergency Medical Services Institute, will develop a training course for firefighters.
