New Jersey A3900 revises the law to allow public officers and employees who are members of the organized militia or reserve components of the Armed Forces of the United States to use paid leave for required inactive duty training or other regularly scheduled training. The leave is in addition to regular vacation or accrued leave. The leave is limited to 30 work days per calendar year for federal active duty and 90 work days for state active duty. The State is required to reimburse school districts or local governments for any additional costs incurred due to this bill.
