New Jersey National Guard members can transfer tuition benefits to their spouse or dependent child.

This bill allows members of the New Jersey National Guard to transfer their tuition benefits to their spouse or dependent child. A spouse can receive up to 16 credits per semester tuition-free, while a dependent child can receive up to eight credits per semester tuition-free. The member must have completed Initial Active Duty Training, be in good standing, and have applied for available state and federal student grants and scholarships. The benefit can only be transferred to one person.
