Establishes outreach and education strategy to improve mental and behavioral health for Hispanics and Latinos in New Jersey.

The "Mental and Behavioral Health for Hispanics and Latinos Act" requires the Commissioner of Health to develop and implement an outreach and education strategy to promote mental and behavioral health and reduce stigma among Hispanic and Latino populations in New Jersey. The strategy will address the impact of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, increase awareness of symptoms of mental illnesses, and provide information on evidence-based interventions. The Commissioner must prepare and submit an annual report on the strategy's effectiveness.
