The bill establishes a tuition reimbursement program for advanced practice nurses who commit to providing mental health care services in underserved areas in New Jersey. Participants must enter into a contract with the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) for one to four years of service. In return, they will receive reimbursement of a portion of their eligible tuition expenses for attending an accredited advanced practice nurse program.
