Authorizes Class Three special law enforcement officers to provide security at public and private colleges.

This bill authorizes Class Three special law enforcement officers to provide security at four-year public and private colleges in New Jersey. These officers, who must complete approved training and certification, will have powers similar to full-time police officers while on duty at these institutions. The bill expands the scope of locations where these officers can provide security to include four-year public and independent institutions of higher education.
