Establishes a two-year pilot program for 24-hour urgent care for behavioral health.

The bill establishes a two-year Urgent Care Facility Behavioral Health Pilot Program to provide behavioral health care at certain hospital urgent care facilities. The goal is to stabilize individuals experiencing behavioral health crises in a way that reduces unnecessary emergency department and inpatient admissions. The Department of Human Services will select one or more managed care organizations to participate in the pilot program.
