Extends protected tenancy period for senior citizens and disabled tenants in New Jersey.

This bill extends the protected tenancy period for certain tenants who are senior citizens and certain tenants with a disability in New Jersey. The protected tenancy period is extended to the lifetime of those tenants who are senior citizens and those tenants with a disability. This change is made to avoid forced eviction and relocation of these tenants, especially during economic dislocations such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The bill amends the "Senior Citizens and Disabled Protected Tenancy Act" to provide these extended protections.
