New Jersey A347 makes it unlawful for any person to use fireworks on a property, public highway, street, road, or alley that is directly adjacent to a property on which is located an animal shelter, pound, or kennel. Violators of this provision are guilty of a disorderly persons offense, which is punishable by a term of imprisonment of up to six months or a fine of up to $1,000, or both.
