New Jersey A3459 introduces additional methods for transferring deceased voters' records to the Statewide voter registration system's death file. It allows the next of kin to submit a form created by the Secretary of State, along with a death certificate, to transfer a deceased family member's record. The Director of the Division of Veterans’ Healthcare Services or a nursing home administrator can also submit a form to notify the commissioner of registration. Funeral home directors are also eligible to submit a form.
