The Large Animal Veterinarian Loan Redemption Program, established in the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority, allows certified veterinarians to redeem a portion of their student loan expenses for each year they practice large animal veterinary medicine in State-designated underserved areas in New Jersey. To participate, applicants must be New Jersey residents, graduates of an approved veterinary school, have completed a professional residency program, and agree to serve in an underserved area.
