Expands scope of practice for licensed acupuncturists in New Jersey.

The bill expands the scope of practice for licensed acupuncturists in New Jersey, allowing them to perform additional diagnostic and analytical tests, including X-rays, reagent strip tests, and hormone saliva tests. It also permits them to order and perform electrodiagnostic tests. Licensed acupuncturists certified in expanded practice can administer injection therapy, intravenous therapy, and bioidentical hormone therapy. They must comply with compounding requirements for licensed health care professionals when compounding drugs for patients.
