Amends EMT training fund eligibility and reimbursement criteria in New Jersey.

This bill revises the law concerning eligibility for funds from the "Emergency Medical Technician Training Fund." It amends the definition of "volunteer emergency medical technician" to include those who provide basic life support services without compensation. It also expands the definition of "public or private institution of higher education" to include out-of-state universities. The bill requires EMTs to work at least 12 service calls or 150 duty hours per year to maintain good standing. Reimbursements from the fund must be promptly paid upon receipt of a qualifying application.
