New Jersey A3381 updates the requirements for occupational therapy licensure. The bill mandates the Director of the Division of Consumer Affairs, in consultation with the Occupational Therapy Advisory Council, to establish continuing competence and professional development requirements for licensed occupational therapists and licensed occupational therapy assistants to renew their licenses. It also removes the requirement for applicants to submit evidence of completed fieldwork experience.
