New Jersey A3362 requires local boards of education to employ and assign on a full-time basis at least one school social worker to each school within the district. For schools with student enrollment above 500, additional school social workers must be employed in a manner proportional to student enrollment. The bill takes effect immediately and applies to the first full school year following enactment.
