New Jersey A3341 provides additional cancellation rights for certain consumers. Consumers aged 60 or older, or those with an intellectual disability, can cancel home improvement contracts up to five business days after receiving the signed contract. Other consumers have up to three business days to cancel home improvement contracts. For consumer goods priced at $500 or more, consumers aged 60 or older, or those with an intellectual disability, can cancel within three business days. The bill mandates full refunds and the return of goods within 30 days of cancellation notice receipt.
