This bill amends existing law to authorize the Commissioner of Transportation to paint a blue line between the double yellow centerline on public roads. The Commissioner may exercise this authority at their discretion. The blue line is intended to enhance traffic regulation, warning, or guidance. The bill also prohibits the use of paint mixed with reflective glass beads containing more than 100 parts per million inorganic arsenic on state highways.
