New Jersey A3337 mandates that shore municipalities must offer free beach access to veterans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces and were honorably discharged, including those who served at least 90 days or were released due to a service-incurred injury or disability. The bill also extends free access to active military personnel, their spouses, and dependent children over 12 years old, as well as active members of the New Jersey National Guard and their families. The Adjutant General of the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs will establish rules for veteran eligibility.
