New Jersey A3317 prohibits service fees for NJ E-ZPass account holders.

New Jersey A3317 prohibits the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, the South Jersey Transportation Authority, or any entity contracted by the lead agency of the New Jersey E-ZPass Group from charging a service fee to an E-ZPass account holder. The bill defines "service fee" as an additional amount added to the monthly billing statement for enrollment in the State’s electronic toll collection system, not for actual usage. This act takes effect immediately.
