New Jersey A3307 regulates the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and generative artificial intelligence (generative AI) by news media or other entities providing news. The bill requires that any generative AI news content include a label indicating the content is generative AI, credit to any source used to produce the content, and a disclaimer that the content may not accurately reflect the source material. The bill prohibits news media or other entities from using AI in lieu of professionals and staff.
