Establishes marine firefighting training course requirements for New Jersey firefighters.

This bill mandates the Division of Fire Safety in the Department of Community Affairs to adopt Coast Guard approved basic, advanced, and in-service marine firefighting training courses for land-based firefighters. All firefighters, both paid and volunteer, must complete the basic and advanced training courses, with the advanced course required within two years of completing the basic course. In-service training is required every two years. Recruit firefighter training programs must include the basic marine firefighting training course.
