New Jersey A3269 mandates enhanced security measures at NJ Transit train stations.

New Jersey A3269 requires the New Jersey Transit Corporation to implement enhanced security measures at its rail stations. Within 12 months of the act's effective date, NJ Transit must conduct a survey of current security practices and submit a report to the Governor and the Legislature detailing the measures in place and identifying any insufficiencies. The corporation must then begin a program to improve and maintain security, including enhanced screening where appropriate.
