New Jersey A3265 amends existing law to establish certain prescription drug data reporting requirements for hospitals. Hospitals must report minimum and maximum prices paid for drugs, volume of drugs dispensed, total rebates and discounts received, and total net income received for each drug and drug group. The Division of Consumer Affairs will analyze this data and publish an annual report on prescription drug pricing trends. The council will review the data and make recommendations to the Governor and Legislature to address high prescription drug costs.
