Introduced Text

New Jersey A3210 makes membership in the New Jersey Council of County Colleges optional for county colleges and county college commissions.

New Jersey A3210 amends existing law to change the membership requirement for the New Jersey Council of County Colleges. Previously, membership was mandatory for county colleges and county college commissions. The bill now allows these entities to choose whether to be members of the council. Members serve without compensation but are reimbursed for reasonable and necessary expenses. The council consists of the presidents and chairmen of the boards of trustees of the county community colleges and county college commissions that choose to be members.
