New Jersey A3164 allows emergency medical technicians and paramedics to use their certification cards as two points of documentation for the MVC.

New Jersey A3164 requires the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) to accept valid emergency medical technician or paramedic certification cards issued by the Department of Health as two points of documentation for the MVC's Six-Point Identification Verification Program. This applies to applicants for an examination permit, a driver’s license, commercial driver license, non-driver identification card, or power vessel operator’s license. The bill mandates the chief administrator to promulgate rules and regulations to implement these provisions.
