New Jersey A3160 creates special license plates supporting Autism Awareness. The Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission will issue these plates upon proper application, displaying words or a slogan supporting Autism Awareness. The design and color scheme will be selected by the Chief Administrator in consultation with the Governor's Council for Medical Research and Treatment of Autism. The Governor's Council must provide at least 500 completed applications and contribute up to $25,000 to offset initial costs.
