Provides health care benefits to disabled members of the Teachers’ Pension and Annuity Fund (TPAF) and the Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS). Members or disability insurance recipients who are disabled and receiving benefits under this section are entitled to health care benefits under the State Health Benefit Program or the School Employees’ Health Benefits Program, except the benefit shall be free and there shall be no employee contribution requirement.
