New Jersey A3068 allows certain students to qualify for in-State tuition at four-year public institutions.

New Jersey A3068 permits students who do not meet existing requirements to qualify for in-State tuition at four-year public institutions. Specifically, students who have attained an associate’s degree from a county college in New Jersey and were regarded as residents for tuition purposes can qualify. Additionally, students without lawful immigration status must file an affidavit stating they have applied or will apply to legalize their immigration status. Student information obtained in the implementation of this section shall be confidential.
