New Jersey A3043 amends the law to require the medical fee schedule used by automobile insurers to reimburse certain services from ambulatory surgical centers at a rate of 300% of the Medicare payment rate. This applies to services not currently listed on the fee schedule, provided they are reimbursable under current Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services guidelines. The Commissioner of Banking and Insurance must promulgate these schedules within 90 days of the law's effective date.
