New Jersey A3029 authorizes temporary licensure for nursing school graduates who have not yet met full licensure requirements.

New Jersey A3029 allows nursing school graduates who have not yet met the requirements for licensure as a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse to apply for a temporary graduate nurse license. The license is valid for one year and can be extended for up to one additional year under certain conditions. The board may issue a temporary license without examination if the applicant has been licensed in another jurisdiction or has completed specific military training programs. Graduates must practice under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse.
