New Jersey A3015 requires law enforcement officers to show sufficient identification while performing their official duties, including during motor vehicle stops. An officer is deemed to have provided sufficient identification if they meet two or more of the following conditions: dressed in a department-issued uniform with agency insignia, present a department-issued identification card with photograph and identifying information, present a badge or label identifying them by number, or operate a vehicle with a clearly visible official agency insignia from 50 feet.
