Allows wineries producing over 250,000 gallons per year to directly ship reserve wines to consumers.

This bill permits wineries that produce more than 250,000 gallons of wine per year to directly ship up to 12 cases of reserve wine to consumers over 21 years old. Reserve wine is defined as wine not sold or distributed through wholesalers and retailers in the state. The bill sets a $1,500 fee for this reserve wine shipping license. Currently, only small wineries producing 250,000 gallons or less per year and out-of-state wineries with a similar production limit can directly ship wine. Larger wineries are prohibited from direct shipment.
