New Jersey A2968 allows graduating students to wear a military sash or stole during high school graduation ceremonies.

New Jersey A2968 amends existing law to require school districts to allow graduating students to wear a military sash or stole issued by a branch of the United States Armed Forces during their high school graduation ceremony. This applies if the student has fulfilled all state and local requirements for receiving a high school diploma and is an active member of the Armed Forces. The amendment takes effect immediately.
