Provides tuition-free credits for retired law enforcement officers, firefighters, and their dependents at New Jersey institutions of higher education.

This bill offers tuition-free credits to certain institutions of higher education for retired law enforcement officers, firefighters, and their spouses and dependents. Eligible retired officers and firefighters can receive up to 16 credits per semester for a maximum of eight semesters. The dependents of officers or firefighters who died in the line of duty can also receive up to 16 credits per semester for eight semesters. To qualify, individuals must be enrolled in good standing and meet the institution's grade point average requirements.
