Clarifies that law enforcement officers employed by educational institutions may possess firearms on campus.

This bill amends New Jersey law to explicitly allow law enforcement officers employed by educational institutions to carry firearms on campus. It defines "law enforcement officer" as someone empowered to act for the detection, apprehension, arrest, and conviction of offenders against the law, who has completed a firearms training course. The bill specifies that these officers can possess firearms while on duty or traveling to and from their employment.
