Authorizes county fire coordinators, deputy county fire coordinators, county emergency medical services coordinators, and deputy emergency medical.
This bill allows county fire coordinators, deputy county fire coordinators, county emergency medical services coordinators, and deputy county emergency medical services coordinators to operate emergency warning lights on their personal vehicles when responding to emergency calls. The Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission will issue identification cards upon request from a county executive or director. These cards serve as permits to mount and operate red emergency warning lights, sirens, or both.
