New Jersey A275 mandates tourniquets for all law enforcement officers and emergency service vehicles.

New Jersey A275 requires the issuance of tourniquets to all state, county, and municipal law enforcement officers. Additionally, it mandates that every basic life support ambulance and mobility assistance vehicle be equipped with a tourniquet while in service. The cost of these tourniquets may be funded by forfeiture funds collected by the Attorney General. The Attorney General and the Commissioner of Health are authorized to create guidelines to implement and enforce these provisions.
