New Jersey A2742 amends public school laws on harassment, intimidation, and bullying to include acts against teachers and staff members and to prohibit certain acts of fraudulent impersonation or false depiction by means of artificial intelligence or deepfake technology. The bill revises the definition of "harassment, intimidation, or bullying" in the "Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act" to include any act or communication that uses deceptive audio or visual media.
