Introduced Text

Authorizes deer hunting on Sunday with bow and arrow or firearms on federal military land in New Jersey, subject to federal military authority.

This bill amends the State Fish and Game Code to allow deer hunting on Sunday with a bow and arrow or firearm on federal military land in New Jersey. This hunting is permitted only if the appropriate federal military authority grants permission and the hunter holds a valid hunting license. Under current law, Sunday hunting is generally prohibited, but this bill makes an exception for federal military lands. The bill takes effect immediately upon enactment.
