Establishes a central registry for background checks of youth serving organization employees and volunteers.

New Jersey A2722 establishes the "Youth Serving Organization Central Registry" as a clearinghouse for collecting and disseminating information from criminal history record background checks of prospective and current employees or volunteers of youth serving organizations. The bill requires the Department of Law and Public Safety to establish this registry, which would request background checks through the State Bureau of Identification in the Division of State Police. Youth serving organizations must register and pay a fee to participate.
