New Jersey A2715, known as the "Radical Regimes Education Act," requires school districts to include age-appropriate instruction on the atrocities committed by the governments of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (U.S.S.R.), the People’s Republic of China (PRC), and Nazi Germany. This instruction must be part of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards in Social Studies for students in grades nine through twelve. The content must cover the history of these regimes, their human rights abuses, and the use of gulags, forced labor, and concentration camps.
