New Jersey A2713 mandates transparency for energy companies receiving subsidies.

New Jersey A2713, the "Energy Subsidies Transparency Act," requires the Board of Public Utilities (BPU) and the Division of Rate Counsel to mandate energy companies receiving subsidies to disclose financial and operational information. The BPU must publish a list of all energy-related subsidies offered in the state, including Class I RECs and SREC-IIs, and update it annually. The BPU can also implement uniform transparency standards for all energy generation systems.
