The bill expands "Daniel's Law" to prohibit the disclosure of personal information of members of the New Jersey Legislature. It includes provisions for the redaction or nondisclosure of home addresses and unlisted telephone numbers of covered persons, which include active, formerly active, or retired judicial officers, members of the legislature, law enforcement officers, child protective investigators, and prosecutors, as well as their immediate family members. The Office of Information Privacy is established to manage requests for redaction or nondisclosure.
