Exempts municipalities from DEP permit fees for repairs after a natural disaster involving flooding.

This bill exempts municipalities from paying fees for permits, approvals, or authorizations from the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) when repairing flood control facilities or damage to roads, buildings, or other structures caused by a natural disaster involving flooding. To qualify for the exemption, the municipality must demonstrate to the DEP that the permit or authorization is necessary for the repairs. The DEP will also publish and distribute information on how municipalities can apply for this fee exemption. The bill takes effect immediately upon enactment.
