New Jersey A2689 requires the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) to contract with AAA to provide certain motor vehicle services at AAA facilities. These services include motor vehicle registration renewals, replacements, and duplicates; driver’s license renewals, duplicates, and upgrades to a REAL-ID license; non-driver identification card renewals, duplicates, and upgrades to a REAL-ID identification card; license plate surrenders; and vision tests. The MVC must publish information about these services on its website within one month of signing the contract.
