New Jersey A2664 mandates biennial inspections of nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

New Jersey A2664 requires the Department of Health to establish uniform care and operating procedures and standards for nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The Department must conduct biennial, on-site inspections to ensure compliance with these standards. Additionally, the Department is to post each inspection report on its website. The bill also allows for other periodic reviews as deemed necessary by the Commissioner of Health.
