The bill authorizes the Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission to issue special Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. license plates. The plates will display words, a slogan, and an emblem honoring the sorority. The chief administrator, in consultation with the Northeast Regional Board of Lambda Theta Alpha, will select the design and color scheme. The commission will not begin designing, producing, issuing, or publicizing the plates until the Northeast Regional Board provides the necessary funds to offset initial costs and 500 completed applications.
