New Jersey A2614 requires certain authorities to consider minorities and women in hiring and contract awards.

New Jersey A2614 mandates that the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, South Jersey Transportation Authority, New Jersey Economic Development Authority, Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and Delaware River Port Authority consider, and when feasible prioritize, minorities and women when offering employment and awarding contracts. The bill defines "minority" and "women's business" and requires these authorities to publish demographic and contract data on their websites quarterly.
